I am a Master's student in Physics at Savitribai Phule Pune University. I have a keen interest in experimental high energy physics, particularly in the field of particle physics. I am passionate about developing machine learning and software tools for analysis in HEP.
My work primarily centers on studying fundamental particles using experimental data from the CMS detector at the LHC at CERN. Additionally, I have also contributed to projects that explore the application of machine learning in astrophysics.
I have developed a pipeline to streamline the analysis of CMS Open Data allowing efficient processing of large and complex datasets. The pipeline is designed to process data from Run 1 and Run 2 of the LHC. More about the pipeline can be found here .
I have worked on a project that uses unsupervised machine learning clustering algorithm DBSCAN to determine the membership probability of open star clusters. The study was to feed the algorithm with data from Gaia DR3 and to determine the membership probability of stars in open star clusters. More about the project here.
In addition to being a physicist, I have a passion for digital art and video editing. I was part of the design team for the Astro Club at Fergusson College, where I created posters and managed social media content.
